What's in my bag?

Apparently this is a tag, so if you want to, feel free to do this as well!

I am obsessed with this bag, if you saw the previous bag I showed, I loved it and it's kind of the same style, you know, a satchel bag, but it wasn't real leather and was pretty good quality, but this one is awesome! It's real leather and it's a bit bigger so it fits my kindle and stuff if I want to bring it. I also like that this brand isn't that well known for their bags, so not everyone in the world will have one of these.

Products in the front product.

Everything in the front pocket is for easy access.  So I have some Kleenex tissues, Kleenex flushable fresh wipes, Botanical Creations Pink Grapefruit 'waterless hand cleanser' and Priceline emergency lips wipes which I actually use for removing tons of makeup swatches from my hand when I go beauty shopping.

 My iPhone 4, earplugs, Soft lips lip balm in Vanilla which I take with me everywhere, Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm in Smoothing Cherry which I always keep in this bag and some Hollywood Make-out mints, and no I don't have these because I make out with everyone lol.

Hollywood Stain Remover, Vera Wang Princess Rollerball Perfume Oil, Sugar Baby Fragrance de Luxe in Pink Grapefruit roller ball (I always keep perfume because this is one of the things that I always forget or don't have time to apply it), Body Shop Tea Tree Blotting Tissues, Hair ties and bobby pins, Models Prefer hair brush and mirror compact, Flourish Glossy Lip Tint in Azalea w/ Clinique Moisturising Gloss Balm in Raspberry and MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner in Petting Pink (again, I always forget or don't have time to apply lip products but I always like having some colour)

August Favourites

August just finished, no more winter which is good and bad, it's sad because no more skiing :( but Spring and warm weather is just round the corner. (:

Okie dokes, let's just get into it.

1.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser SPF 20 Oil Free in Sand - This tinted moisturiser is stunning, it's the best tinted moisturiser I have ever tried, and it has a really good coverage for tinted moisturiser. It's fantastic and feels very light and I wear it everyday to school.

2. 

MAC Something Special Creamblend Blush - I received this in a giveaway from daydream amy for her 100 follower giveaway, she is one of my favourite bloggers and I think her blog is just amazing! Anyway, this blush really is awesome, I like the colour more than my MAC Ladyblush, it's a little more orange toned which I prefer for my skin tone, I always wear it with my NYX blush in Peach which makes my perfect blush colour, I love it any wear this combo everyday to school.

Inglot Loose Translucent Powder in 211 - I've been using this with a blending brush to set my under eye and prevent my mascara/eyeliner for smudging. I learnt this awesome tip from makeuptips- tumblr.

Benefit Erase Paste Concealer in Medium No.2 - I have mentioned this concealer, before but this is just showing that I always come back to this concealer. It's just so great for under the eyes and conceals great!

Tony Moly Gel Liner in Brown - This eyeliner was also in the prizes from daydreamamy's giveaway and I love it as well. She claims that it is better than the Bobbi Brown gel liners which I was thinking of getting. This gel liner is super creamy but doesn't smudge and stays on really well, I am in love with it.

Ardell Brow Sculpting Gel - I've started fixing my eyebrows this month. I haven't yet been brave enough to wax the bajillion of strays that I have on my eyebrows (reason why I don't tweeze) but I have trimmed them, and I set them with this. This is a really cheap brow setting gel (the Maybelline Great Lash Clear mascara is really hard to find in Australia) and it works great!


7. MAC ES Satin Taupe - I bought this eyeshadow back when I went to Australia, but despite all the hype, I never really hopped on the bandwagon. But I found a tutorial on YouTube by aleexandraaxo and I love the way that she uses this eyeshadow. I use to think I could just use it as a crease colour, but I always had other alternatives that I prefer, but I never thought of using the eyeshadow in this way. I also used it in a recent evening eye look tutorial.

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara in Black Brown - I LOOOVE this mascara, I always use it on my bottom lashes or tinsy lashes on my upper lashes, and it's smudgeproof!


9. Prestige Eyebrow Definer in Black Brown - This is the first ever eyebrow pencil I have ever bought, it was recommended by makeuptips- again, and I love this! I feather it on my eyebrows for a really natural defined look.

Nail Kit - I was gifted this by my family friends in Sydney (I live in Melbourne) and when I first got it, I was younger and I didn't really know what to do with it. But now a lot of the things in this are super handy, and it's all in one cute butterfly mini 'folder'. It comes with nail clippers, eyebrow scissors (which came in handy when I started neatening up my eyebrows!), tweezers, some funny shaped mini spoons LOL and a nail file.

Stila Lip Glaze in Apricot & Grapefruit - I've been loving one of these lipglosses with the next lipstick, it's a really cute natural look, and I like it more than my old Revlon Color Burst combo, but I can never pick between these two lipglosses, and they smell AMAZING!

Maybelline Pure Shine Lipstick in P12 - I got this in Hong Kong and I haven't seen it in Australia, but it is the most gorgeous angel pink!

Clinique Superbalm Moisturising Gloss in Raspberry - This was definitely a surprise love, because my other Clinique lipgloss but it's a different type and it's super sticky, but this one is amazing, and is not sticky, and the colour works great with the next product.

FlourishBathBody Glossy Lip Tint in Azalea - I have shown this before but I just love this combo! This is the combo that I always keep in my bag, because I always accidentally forget to put on or don't have time to put on lip products. This combo is just a really nice and flattering colour for my lip and skin colour and I LOOOOOVE it!

16 & 17.

Botanical Creations Waterless Hand Cleanser in Vanilla Brown Sugar and Pink Grapefruit - If you're from America, then you probably know that everyone has Bath & Body Works scented hand sanitisers, and I want them so much, but unfortunately we do not have them in Australia, but recently Priceline released scented hand sanitisers, and I've been using them all the time, and today I just also bought the Peach one.

Sugar Baby Pink Grapefruit Fragrance de Luxe - This perfume oil is awesome, and as you know, I looove the smell and taste of Grapefruit, so this is just awesome smelling haha.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Daily Face Sunscreen Lotion SPF30+ Oil Free - I finally found an Oil-Free face sunscreen with high SPF.

Kit Design Award Pomegranate & Pink Grapefruit Lotion - I voted in the designs for the new release of the Kit lotion so I received a free sample. I loooove this lotion! It feel's really light and non greasy but it is so moisturising, and it smells fantastic! Pomegranate and Pink Grapefruit are my two all time favourite fruit smelling scents, which is such a coincidence.

July Favourites

I know everyone says that the month speeds past them but this month has been quite slow. Most of this month has been holidays and everyone coincidentally was busy whenever anyone tried to organise anything so my holidays mostly consisted of going to my parents' work and working or doing homework. 
Although my highlight would have to be skiing, I went up to the slopes twice these holidays and I'm going up again in a couple of weeks. No feeling can compare to how I feel when I'm skiing, I'm free of worries and I feel like I'm feeling, it's like a dream. 
Now into the shtuff.

Burt's Bees Anti Blemish Solutions Daily Cleanser - Sadly my skin has become immune to the Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions cleanser which I recently finished, and I wanted to try this anyway. It works great! Does the job, pretty well. But I still often switch to the Clinique one too, so I don't get immune to this one too. 
Body Shop Tea Tree Oil - I have tried spot treatments before and they never seemed to work, they even made my pimples worse. But this does not in anyway make my pimples disappear in a day, nothing ever works like that, but it definitely speeds up the time for the pimple to leave my face, and it worked on a pimple that was coming through right in the smack bang middle of my face, so I just applied some tea tree oil to the area with a cotton tip twice a day after cleansing and after about a week, the pimple disappeared, and it didn't even get inflamed which is good. 
Head & Shoulders' Smooth & Silky Shampoo & Conditioner - The Lush shampoo, makes my hair look amazing but doesn't help with my dandruff problem. I tried a salon recommended product for a couple weeks and it didn't make a difference, I decided to go back to the classic anti-dandruff consumer product. My hair isn't as shiny as before, but at least it's not as itchy. 
Soap & Glory Hair Supply - I've been using this as a conditioner when I use the lush shampoo, just for some added shine. And it smells great. 
Soap & Glory Flake Away - This scrub again has the signature Soap & Glory scent, therefore it smells great and it also makes my skin sooooo smooth and soft.
Terry White Chemist's Sorbolene Cream - Being winter time, my skin gets drier, so this just helps with those annoying little rashes or dry patches.
Imperial Leather Foamburst in Moisture Delight - I actually got this for free in January at the Australian Open but I didn't think it was that great. Now I've come back to it and I love it. When it comes out of the can it is a gel consistency but it foams up when you massage it into your skin, super cool concept.

NYX Blush in Peach - One of my first ever NYX products and I'm quite happy. It's a really pretty natural colour and has become one of my go-to blushes. It also has good colour payoff and I like to use it with this brush:
Sigma Large Angled Contour F40 - I like this brush to apply blush. Full stop. 
Covergirl Natureluxe Foundation in 325 Sandstone - This finally was released in Australia, I am quite impressed, it is a good low end duplicate for the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. Although it can be a little greasy, so maybe steer clear of this if you have pretty oily skin, I try to apply less of this to my t-zone. 

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Gel/Cream Liner for Brown Eyes - Wow, what a mouthful of a name. I have come back to loving these this month, the formula is great, it's nice and creamy and doesn't dry out too fast. I think I prefer the brown one over the black because it's more natural, but I just have to note that the black eyeliner, actually has purple shimmer in it which is awesome! It's very subtle though and just brings out the eye colour. The other eye colours have corresponding shimmer too. The brown also has some gold shimmer in it, which you can see in the picture below.
MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Gilded White from the Surf Baby Collection - This is just a really pretty off white champagne colour that I like to use on my waterline to open up my eyes. It is supposed to be waterproof but I don't think it stays on my waterline that long, but it still has better staying power than the Rimmel white eyeliner. 

Ecotools Eye shader brush - This is one of my first Ecotools brushes and I'm quite impressed, it applies product really well and is really dense. 
MAC Fix+ - I don't know if this helps to keep my makeup on for longer, but it's nice and refreshing haha.

I have nail polish favourites this month because it has been the holidays so I am allowed to wear nail polish. 
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat - This top coat is awesome! It dries in 30 seconds and does prevent chipping.
Essie Buy Me A Cameo - A gorgeous nude nail polish, like the MAC Naked Lunch eyeshadow of nail polishes.
Essie Mint Candy Apple - A gorgeous mint colour.
OPI Mermaid's Tears from the Pirates of the Caribbean collection - This is probably one of my favourite nail polish colours. It is a gorgeous mint sea foam green.
OPI Teal The Cows Come Home - I love this fun blue on my toenails. 
OPI Teenage Dream from the Katy Perry Collection - So fun to put on my ring finger.
Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Strips - I don't have a picture but they stay on really well and don't really chip. 
Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream - Sorry I forgot to take a picture of this, but it really moisturises my cuticles, it's great!
Other:
Harry Potter, I admit, I'm a Potterhead. And gotta love Tom Felton, one of the most humble celebrities I know.
Surviving High School and Jet Set Go, two fun iPhone apps. Haha.

June Favourites

I probably shouldn’t even both with a June Favourites if we’re already halfway through July, but I had to because I had discovered soooo many new products that are fantastic and I want to show them to you.

Face:

Evian Facial Spray – I’ve loved this as a finishing spray, I don’t think this is made as a setting spray, but it’s really good for finishing, if that makes sense. It makes your makeup look more natural and just working together to look good. I think this would be better in summer because it’s really refreshing and makes you look quite fresh.

Benefit Sugarbomb – This is a super pretty shimmery blush and creates a really natural colour, warning that it is super shimmery.

NARS Orgasm blush – I have talked about this before but I’ve gotten back into it June, it’s just such a stunning everyday colour, although I do prefer it throughout the summer.

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in Nude – I really like this foundation, it gives good coverage and doesn’t feel too heavy. I love the texture, it feels soooo airy, like mousse that has been sitting out at room temperature and is about to be served.
